A bike ride, to celebrate the season and help raise money to support UMass Hillel’s community service programs and environmentally-friendly projects. This year’s ride is on Sunday, October 14, 2012 with planned 9, 18 and 36 mile bike routes through the picturesque autumn foliage of Amherst and surrounding towns. New this year is a Walk to Provide on the beautiful UMass Amherst campus! Sponsorship and participation of groups from synagogues and other community organizations is encouraged! Last year’s Ride to Provide raised nearly $55,000 for UMass Hillel students to participate in tikkun olam (repairing the world).
